This is the area for the members of the South Somerset Agricultural Preservation Club, organisers of Yesterday’s Farming.

The South Somerset Agricultural Preservation club was founded in 1972 and is still very active over 50 years later, 2022 was the clubs 50th anniversary!

Our club gathers on every 3rd Monday of the month at The Bell Inn, Ash, Where each month we have guest speakers as well as a meeting to keep up to date with the latest news of the club and show. It is also a great opportunity as a social gathering to catch up with long forgotten faces or more closer friends. The Bar is open as well as tea and coffee for refreshments. If you are interested in becoming a member and finding out more about what we do and what we are trying to preserve, feel free to come and you would be most welcome!

Each year we also have various events for club members, including a Spring and Autumn Crank Up ran by Chris and Pam Davey at The Half Moon in at Stoke St Mary near Taunton, as well as a Spring and Autumn Sort out ran by Dave Fox and Brian Jones at Yeovil Town Football Club. We also have an open meeting in the summer where we will go and look at a collection or local attraction for the evening.
